Hello, I'm Ian Ridgway, and I'm passionate about the world of advertising. Currently serving as the Creative Director of Marketing & PR at a regional theater in Southwest Virginia, my focus is on promoting shows to the vibrant Roanoke Region and nurturing community connections for the theater.
Prior to this role, I earned my B.S. in Strategic Communications with an Advertising concentration from West Virginia University. During my undergraduate years, I honed my skills at the Martin Hall Agency, a student-run, full-service advertising and public relations agency dedicated to West Virginia-based non-profits. I began as their Lead Videographer and Photographer, eventually progressing to the role of Creative Director and Manager of Market Research. My contributions were recognized with both gold and silver ADDY awards during my time at the agency.
Outside of my professional life, I'm an avid traveler who always has a camera by my side, capturing architecture, landscapes, and precious memories through photos and short films. Additionally, I have a deep fascination with technology and thrive on staying up-to-date with the ever-evolving tech landscape, whether it involves mastering new software or building custom computers.
